I need a sea change and Eden looks beautiful. What can you tell me about living in Eden as a family and as a community? What are the preschools and schools like? Shopping? Entertainment? Employment? Weather? Can you get mobile range and fast internet speeds?
Hi Leah, I'm sorry I missed seeing your comment. There are 2 preschools here, 2 primary schools (one public, one Catholic) and one high school, Eden Marine High, which has been named a centre of learning excellence due to it's high standard. Shopping is a bit light on, you'd need to drive to Merimbula, or if you are a serious shoppen you'd probably go to Canberra once in a while. Employment, not so good. Weather - great, it's temperate, rarely gets really hot or really cold. My Telstra mobile works great here, and I've got ADSL and you can get wireless but there is no optic cable broadband.

happy christmas, my name is Brian Mc Kenna from Germany.
I´m 22 years old.
For a short time I know that I have the same name as my real father who died in January 1988, bevor I was born in May 1988.
I never had a change to met him, or I dont even have a picture of him. I don´t know much of him only a few things. I wish to know more of him.
My mom told me that he also had an abalone-farm in Sydney, and should have a brother.
He was around 53 years when he died.
Please help me with that!

maybe his friend George Anderson is still alive (maybe 70 years old), he also lived (or still live) in Eden.
