Eden Whale Festival

The Eden Whale Festival always begins with the street parade, which starts in front of Eden Primary School, and goes all the way up the main street and then down to the wharf. I missed it this year, so no photos to show you, but it's usually a good parade, with nice floats, big trucks, vintage cars and more.

The weather was good for the event.

Here are some photos from down at the wharf:
The youth center had a stall, and they did some nice airbrush tattoos.

Getting ready for the big ride...

That doesn't look too bad...

But how about that? You won't catch me on there!

Oops, the generator failed, but all was restored a few minutes later.
The Dept. of Fisheries tank was pretty interesting.
Clown school.
Aspiring rock stars.
Artistic merit.
The environment featured too.
